Board Application

Join the Board

Thank you for your interest in joining the Library Endowment Trust. Our board consists of 15-22 members who can serve up to three three-year terms and are expected to participate actively in the functioning of the organization.

Please consider all of your obligations and weigh the amount of time you have available. Among the responsibilities of Trustees are the following:

  • Attend quarterly meetings from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm at a Metropolitan Library System location or via Zoom on the 4th Wednesday of May, July, November, and February.
  • Serve on at least 1 committee and participate in committee activities
  • Make an annual contribution to the endowment fund
  • Participate in at least one annual fundraising event
